A Motivational Kick In The Butt

I will be honest. I've been in a blogging slump lately. A big fat ol' slump.   When I started this blog, it was for the sole purpose of keeping connected with our family and friends during deployment. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that our story would touch so many people. I never imagined that I would discover and become connected with so many awesome blog writers. And I never ever thought our story would reach complete strangers who would become friends.   Blogging is it's own world, it can be as big or as small as you want it to be. Regardless of what you are writing about, or who you are writing for, in the blog world to be acknowledged, publicly, by another blog, is a big deal!   Well Synnove at Don't Chew on the Dinner Table, my "bloggy bestie" (hmmm... she probably doesn't know I call her this, she will either find this weird, or flattering, I vote flattering!), this AWESOME lady decided ROCK MY SOCKS OFF and gave me my first award here.   The Sisterhood of the World Bloggers Award!   How awesome is that?   So thank you Synnove! This was just the motivational kick I needed to get off my butt and keep on bloggin!
